Holan began designing web sites at Pittsburg State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Graphics with a minor in Marketing in 2001. Holan later went on to earn a Master's Degree in Information Management Technology from Webster University in 2008. She also has a Master's Certificate in Lean Six Sigma. Holan also writes Gadget Girl Tips, a Tech Blog, for the Leavenworth Times.
